Spartanburg County Medical Society

Physicians Working Together Since 1866

The Spartanburg County Medical Society has served the medical community for more than 150 years, bringing physicians together to advance the practice of medicine and support the health of the communities we serve.

Today, the Society represents physicians in Spartanburg, Cherokee, and Union counties and serves as District 3 of the South Carolina Medical Association.

Our organization provides physicians with opportunities to connect with colleagues, engage in advocacy, support the medical profession, and contribute to the future of healthcare in our region.

Our Mission

The Spartanburg County Medical Society exists to bring physicians together in support of the science and art of medicine, while promoting unity, collaboration, and the welfare of the medical profession.

We believe that a strong physician community creates a stronger healthcare system and, ultimately, a healthier community.

Our Role in the Medical Community

The Society serves as a local voice for physicians and a connection point within the broader South Carolina medical community.
