Advancing Medicine.
Supporting Physicians.
Strengthening Our Community.

Established in 1866, the Spartanburg County Medical Society brings physicians together to support the medical profession, advocate for our healthcare community, and promote the health and well-being of the communities we serve.

A Stronger Medical Community Starts With Us

For more than 150 years, the Spartanburg County Medical Society has provided a place for physicians to connect, collaborate, and work together for the advancement of medicine.

Today, we represent physicians across Spartanburg, Cherokee, and Union counties as South Carolina Medical Association District 3.

Our work is grounded in a simple purpose: support physicians, strengthen our profession, and improve the health of our community.

Advocacy Matters

Physicians deserve a strong voice in the decisions that shape healthcare.

Through our advocacy efforts and Political Action Committee, the Spartanburg County Medical Society works to keep physicians engaged with local and state policymakers and to support policies that benefit the physician community.

Your voice matters. Your involvement matters.
